DEADLY REMAINS - Back For New Album "Severing Humanity"

by Metalbleeding Corp

One of the best new American death metal bands, California's Deadly Remains trully crushes all in it's path. The band's New album, "Severing Humanity" is an impressive display of pure, brute force. Taking death metal to the gates of hell in an absolute fury of rage, angst and absolute torment. Fans of Hour of Penance, Abominable Putridity, Condemned or Flesh Consumed, will be instant Deadly Remains minions.

Deadly Remains is an up and coming death metal band from Northern California that came into existence in the fall of 2006. The band produced and released an eight track demo called Moral Crusade in 2008. Recorded at NB Recording Studios in Santa Rosa, CA Moral Crusade afforded the band opportunities to play throughout California and build a fan base.

From that point the style of the band and individual musicianship has continued to progress; adding more dissonance, technicality and lower tuning. Deadly Remains strives to create music that has intensity and substance, blending brutal/technical death metal with progressive/melodic sections.

In fall of 2009 Deadly Remains released Before the Nothing (once again recorded/mixed/mastered at NB Recording Studios), featuring artwork by Jon Zig as well as improved songwriting, musicianship, and better production. The band toured the Pacific Northwest (CA, OR, WA, ID, UT, LV) on this release. Over the past two years Deadly Remains has played shows in theater halls, clubs, bars, warehouses, homes, back yards, and everything in between.

They have made numerous appearances at festival type shows all over California and Nevada, and have had the privilege of sharing the stage with notable bands such as Napalm Death, Flesh Consumed, Sepsism, Colonize the Rotting, Septycal Gorge, Cerebral Incubation, Condemned, Embryonic Devourment, Putrid Pile, Arkaik, Pathology, Inherit Disease, To Violently Vomit (disgorge), and Vulvectomy. A highlight for the band happened in May 2010 , when Deadly Remains shared the stage at the world famous Whisky A Go Go with brutal death metal juggernauts Pathology and Inherit Disease.

Deadly Remains is currently writing new material for an early 2011 release via Deep Send Records called “Severing Humanity”. Expect technicality, dissonance, and brutality in the vein of Defeated Sanity, Gorguts, Disgorge, Suffocation.

GOROD - Sign New Album "A Perfect Absolution" With Unique Leader Records.

by Metalbleeding Corp

Founded in Bordeaux (France) in 1997, under the moniker GORGASM, the band finally record its debut full-length album “Neurotripsicks” in 2004 for Deadsun Records.  With this CD, they cut a deal with Willowtip Records (US), who decided to re-release “Neurotripsicks” in 2005 with two brand new bonus tracks. At this same moment, the band decided to rename themselves to GOROD to avoid confusion with the Chicago death metal outfit of the same name.

The album received a good response from the media and in 2006, the band returned with the much-praised “Leading Vision”. The band then toured over Europe and went to the mighty Maryland DeathFest (USA) and DeathFeast Open Air (D), only to impress and leave the many spectators in awe.  At the End of 2008, the band found a new drummer in Sam Santiago just before they entered the studio to record the new opus “Process Of A New Decline”. On this album, Sam pushed the band to a new level with his tight, fast and groovy drumming. With this new record, out june 2009, GOROD have cleverly spiced their diamond-cutting technicality. To promote this CD, the band toured Europe with NY death metal legends Immolation (USA) and done several shows and festivals in France.
For years Gorod has set high levels of killer over the top extreme metal releases which many have seen as inspiration and influence on their writing techniques. As the band furthers itself in mind blowing song structure and deliverance they are set to unleash their 4th onslaught of technical mayhem on the masses entitled “A Perfect Absolution”.

In Fall 2011 the band finished recording sessions for the new release with famed French metal producer Frederic “Elmobo” Motte which also features guest solos by Christian Muenzner (Obscura) & Mike Keene (The Faceless). The end result in production is a perfect compliment.

Gorod is without a doubt one of the most amazing progressive tech death metal bands in the scene today and they are ready to spread their radioactive songwriting once again all over the world.

“A Perfect Absolution” will be available in North America May 8th in CD, Vinyl and digital format.

INSISION - Celebrate Their 15 Year Anniversary with the new Release "15 Years Of Exaggerated Torment" Cover Artwork.

by Metalbleeding Corp

Swedish death metallers INSISION will celebrate their 15-year anniversary with the release of "15 Years Of Exaggerated Torment", a 23-song collection containing material from their first demo, 1998's "Meant To Suffer"; a recording of the band's second live appearance in 1998, "Live Like A Worm"; the 1999 mini-CD "The Dead Live On"; 2000's "Promo 2000" demo; 2001's "Revelation Of The SadoGod" demo; plus a newly re-recorded version of an old track. Due on May 25 in the U.S. and June 1 in Europe via Sevared Records, the double-CD set was once again completed with the help of engineer Anders Eriksson at Off Beat Studio in Stockholm. The cover art was created by Rian from Indonesia and can be seen below.

Commented the band: "We feel proud to have stayed solid throughout these years.

"Right now we're working hard to create new songs for the upcoming full-length CD, which hopefully will be our strongest release to date. We don't have a recording date settled, but as soon as eveything falls into place and feels dark'n'fast enough, we will start recording. All credits to the loyal fans of death metal who supported INSISION through these 15 years. Death metal is our religion."

INSISION previously described its new material as "a mix of the complex stuff we did on our first record, 'Beneath The Folds Of Flesh' back in 2001 along with rhythm parts that can be explained with a more darker approach."

INSISION BIO
Stockholm´s Insision have had to battle the fact that the more brutal forms of Death Metal have been supressed in recent years, forced underground and ignored. Finally the tide is beginning to turn and Insision can proudly state that they have never deviated from their chosen path, and that perhaps their time is at hand.

Building on the reputation of some well distributed demos and also a MCD ´The Dead Live On´Insision, Insision signed to Wicked World in 2001 and quickly entered Berno Studios (where The Haunted concocted ´The Haunted Made Me Do It´) to record their debut full length. The resulting album, ´Beneath the Folds of Flesh´ is testament to the bands enduring belief in the music they play and the flat refusal to compromise the sound or presentation of the band. However, those expecting a simple gore-drenched exercise in brutality had better think again. Probing beneath the surface reveals Insision to be a more complex beast.

Clues appear in the song titles - ´My Fever´, ´Trapped Within´ and ´Impamiiz Graa´ do not sound typical in a genre that usually relies on blood and guts to get its message across. The lyrics reveal inspirations from HP Lovecraft and Satanism, but also influences of a more personal nature from singer Carl Birath, covering inner demons and alter egos (the ´Impamiiz Graa´ mentioned above) and personal duels with concepts of good and evil, right and wrong, freedom and oppression. A glance at the lyrical content shows that there is no ordinary mind at work here, and the knowledgeable treatment of the subject matters add more depth to the Insision mix.

Musically the band rely heavily on rhythmic structures and speed-fuelled tempos to deliver the message, choosing to grind through a variety of discordant patterns that are coiled around stop/start riffing. Aided and abetted in the studio by Deranged guitarist Johan Axelsson, the wall of sound is thick as smoke and just as suffocating, leaving little room for guitar wank from axemeister Roger Johansson, but with just enough air for the amazingly pinpoint drum work of Thomas Daun bludgeon its way through the mix. The likes of ´Sado God´ and frenetic opener ´World Impaled´ display Insision´s best qualities, rampaging through blasts and pure death metal assaults like it´s going out of fashion.

Which is what Insision have been battling since their inception - fashion. Nothing on ´Beneath the Folds of Flesh´ is remotely fashionable, and yet the very fact that Insison wear their colours so plainly on their chests is the thing that makes them the Death Metal band best placed to banish the Scandinavian melodic movement into history and establish a new era where butality reigns supreme.

Having toured the UK twice in 2002, once as guests of Decapitated and then again with The Berzerker, rounding out the year with a special appearance at the Earache Xmas Party in Nottingham in December, with The Berzerker, Cult of Luna and Without Face in two. During 2003, the band hit Germany and played sveral domestic dates, finding time as well to complete their first video for ´My Fever´. All the while, the band had been writing new material.

Which brings us to the present, as Insision prepare to enter Sound Lab Studios to record their second album. Expect nothing less than 100% grinding Death Metal when the record is released in May 2004.

NILE - Release Date For the New Album "At The Gate of Sethu" ,Cover Art and Announces Asian Tour Dates

by Metalbleeding Corp

The reigning kings of technical, historically-themed brutality, NILE, are proud to announce they are touring Asia this April/May. This marks the band’s first time in these markets and the guys are extremely excited to be playing for their Asian metal brothers. “The whole idea of spreading NILE’s music into this part of the world has been a long time coming” commented the band. “We are extremely pleased to go to there and are looking forward to an amazing cultural exchange and experience.”

Ancient Egypt-themed Death Metal act NILE have just revealed the cover artwork of their upcoming album: ‘’At The Gate Of Sethu’’.  Artwork was handled this time by a true genius of darkened visuals, Seth Siro Anton (Soilwork, Paradise Lost, SepticFlesh).

Band mastermind Karl Sanders commented:
“Seth Siro Anton has designed the cover. I have been a fan of SEPTIC FLESH a long time, and as Seth expressed interest, I knew that he would deliver a great job.  I would say his work is easily the best we've ever had. He has captured the darker side of the sound of NILE and reflected the music and ideas, the heart and soul of NILE are forming. Seth is a very talented man and understands exactly who we are. "

Seth Siro Anton states:
“It is no secret that I admire the powerful stylistic lines of the magical symbols that still transmit the aura of ancient Egypt, preserving in time the ancient mysteries.  Also, I am fascinated from the final frozen moment of the flesh captured in an eternal sleeping stasis, at the completion of the mummification process.  So, with a great pleasure I accepted the challenge, to visualize the new masterpiece of Nile ‘’At the gate of Sethu’’.

‘’At the gate of Sethu’’ will be released June 29, 2012 via Nuclear Blast.

MISERATION - Reveal Album Detail "Tragedy Has Spoken" And Cover Artwork

by Metalbleeding Corp

Theory tells that tragedy is a form of drama based on human suffering that invokes in its audience an accompanying catharsis or pleasure in listening. MISERATION’s newest album “Tragedy Has Spoken” follows this path musically and lyrically.

The theme of the third album of these Scandinavians can be described as sum of the major tragedies of mankind’s history. Lyrics for “Tragedy Has Spoken” have been written by Pär Johansson (Satariel, Torchbearer, The Few Against Many) and band’s lead singer Christian Älvestam (also in Solution.45, Torchbearer), and address the diversity of tragedies. Some of which have taken the guise of accidents or natural disasters, while others were carried out with human hands and intent. Behind all this there is to find an imaginary architect, a fictive entity – something powerful, aware, far above the manmade concepts of good or evil: the nature of tragedy itself.

Musically MISERATION expand their view on forward-thinking, vicious Death Metal by integrating new instruments to the mix. There still is to find what caused the quality and sustainability of “Your Demons, Their Angels” (2008) and “The Mirroring Shadow” (2009), but in 2012 there is more than technical, intricate Death Metal with a good dose of melody. “Tragedy Has Spoken” was recorded using 8-string guitars, which gives the wall of distortion a certain distinctive flair. In addition MISERATION are incorporating folk instruments such as the Indian harp Esraj, the Persian hammered dulcimer Santur, sawblade, organ, mandolin and piano, as well as Mongolian throatsinging. Music and lyrics are globally and far beyond standard practice, so there is a lot to discover!

The cover artwork for “Tragedy Has Spoken” has been created by well-reputed artist Pär Olofsson (Immortal, Abysmal Dawn, Immolation, The Faceless).

A first track taken from the new album will be revealed on May 9th!
“Tragedy Has Spoken” is set to be released on the following dates:
June 29th, 2012 (D/ AT/ CH + Digital)
July 2nd, 2012 (Europe)
July 3rd, 2012 (North America)
July 4th, 2012 (Scandinavia)
